Sally ffitch is a passionate garden designer who strives to achieve beauty, enjoyment, and a sense of well-being by creating designs for outside spaces; providing a seamless transition between the inner rooms of the home and the surrounding outdoors. Sally enjoys creating classic contemporary designs, small balconies, courtyards, and even more extensive country gardens within London and the Home Counties.

Sustainability, wildlife, and well-being are incredibly important when designing the garden as well as allowing the senses to be activated by textures, colours, and smells. Working with Sally ffitch on your garden design will bring a wondrous new sense of opportunity to your home, transforming and enriching your outdoor space for years to come.

The Process

The process initially starts with an introduction and consultation to discover what appeals to you, the client, and how the garden is used by you and your family. Following this, we go through several stages from initial concept drawings to detailed illustrations, planting plans, and full structural drawings.

If needed, a project management service can be commissioned where we take care of recommending landscapers, assessing quotes, and overseeing the whole project build.

“Sally undertook a prestigious project for Guy’s Hospital, redesigning an outdoor courtyard for use by patients and staff. The team at Guy’s chose Sally’s very innovative and detailed plan and the garden will be built in 2023. Sally is a talented, sensitive and hardworking designer who I can highly recommend.”

– Rosemary Alexander

“I have found Sally to be an absolute pleasure to work alongside. Her knowledge and eye for detail transfer seamlessly from client to designer. She understands the nature of the business, both from a design and construction angle, which is hugely important, both for the clients and the construction teams involved.”
